Why lie when the truth will do?This book was absolutely telling in the way that you read and visualized how lies, that are hidden in darkness will always come to the light. The book told of a situation that was not dealt with in the past that reared its ugly head in a way that surely could have destroyed many lives. It is amazing how we as Saints, and just individuals in the like try to hide truth. Truth will always come out in the end! It is better to deal with life's issues and circumstances in a direct, loving and stern way, leaving no room for the devil to slip in. If you let that lie ride, it will certainly drive you into unwanted chaos, stress, and a pit, that you have to find your way out of.
I have been there and this book was so relevant, relatable and refreshing for me, so thankful for God's Redemptive Grace. That old lustful flesh will get you every time. As the Word says, When I try to do right, evil is always present, Romans 7:21.
I could not put the book down, I could not go to sleep until I finished the book. This was after I got off work at 7pm, took care of my 7 1/2-month-old son, and got settled. This is a must read for anyone who loves to read books that deal with real life issues...
I am ready for more. Great Read!

Wow, Wow, Wow....This book contains all the things that make for a great summer read; love, drama, intrigue. I did not want to put it down! The characters are loveable and easy to relate to (even if you don't really want to!) and each page leaves you wanting more. Terry is definitely a guilty pleasure!!!!! Can't wait for book 2!!!!!
The true secret is that the author has written a truly insightful and refreshingly intriguing romance novel that is oh so relevant to the times! This novel oozes of passion without the sexual explicitness you find in most GOOD romance novels. The book draws you in to the point you don't want to put it down because you want to find out what happened next....I finished it in one sitting...just had to see what the end was going to be. I highly recommend this book to anyone as I believe any person can relate to Passion Taylor and, like I, would intently enjoy the peek she gives you into her life. In writing "Secret in the Pew" the author has revealed a secret of her own....she is a novelist extraordinaire in the making.
A note of disclosure I know the author personally but please know that our relationship is the reason I paid full price for the book, took the time to originally read the book, and made the time to write this review (due to my current place in life, my resources are scarce so I spend money with care and my time even more so); trust that I have been honest in my review....if I could not be honest I would have not written a review at all.

In fairness, the 2nd book is not out yet. Therefore, my issues may be addressed in the next book. First, I think almost anyone can relate to Passion on some level. Second, I think the book can reach a larger audience, if minor aspects of the plot & personalities were tweaked in a more realistic fashion. For example, Kris is the typical church man that church women go for. He is handsome, successful...oh yeah, and he loves the LAWD. That is great, right? Well....
Here is my issue with Kris. It seemed a bit much that he was praying for Passion's heart to "turn towards" him and for her to be his "wife", when he had JUST met her. I don't care how fine, how successful, how much he LOVES Jesus, that is too much too soon. Get to know someone first, then decide if that should be the prayer/focus down the road. Overall, it is a good read. It will hold your attention, but what saddens me is that so many women want "A man in the church". Just because he is in the church, it does not mean his mind is right, or that he is right for you. The church man can still be in disguise as a "Terry". Also, in one of his first calls to Passion, he told her he would be praying for her. Uh...what? Passion just met you 10 seconds ago. From the book, it "seemed" Passion was impressed with that, but that would be odd coming from some man I just met. Praying for me, for what? That is just off. I don't know, Kris may have his own "Secrets in the Pew" next...

This book is simply incredible! Passion is such a relateable character and Kris is the man of any woman's dreams! I simply love this story! It's filled with love, scandal, and most importantly, it has a strong spiritual background. I promise you won't want to put this book down! Can't wait to read more books from Regina!
This book truly took my breath away! The characters were so realistic and I felt like I knew them personally. Each chapter leaves you wanting more and you simply won't be able to put it down. Secret in the Pew is truly an amazing story with a well thought out plot. I would recommend this book to anyone because I know that they will not be disappointed! I give this book 2 thumbs up!
This book is so awesome!!! When I started reading it, I couldn't put it down!!! I read the entire book in 24 hours... Don't be fooled by the title of the book and the reason I say that is because I was asked what kinda secrets were in the church!!! The secrets in this book has nothing to do with church it's about everyday life!!! I found the book to be very encouraging and powerful!!! Keeping secrets in any type of relationship is very unhealthy... "Secret in the Pew" very much illustrates the kind of mess you can encounter in your life which is unnecessary mess to me if you just be TRUTHFUL!!! I love the book, I plan on reading it again while I patiently wait for book 2!!! I recommend if you don't have the book purchase it, it's definitely a must READ you will not be disappointed!!!
